Fortunate to meet with one of the discoverer of DNA structure, Nobel Laureate Prof. James Watson at a conference on redox biology. His energy at the age of 90 and interest is really a source of inspiration. A 15 minute quick conversation and a chance to attend his 30 minute talk was mesmerizing.

Medical Research Council (MRC), UK is the lab with pearls in its scientific glory. Several important discoveries like DNA structure, Protein sequencing, determination of ribosome structure and lot more. A quick interaction of Nobel Laureate Prof. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan (Venki) was really inspiring. Humble nature and passion for Science were quite obvious and clearly apparent in his every single word.

Curiosity of a graduate

As a curious student during his graduation Aditya once observed a minor confusing figure in one the famous book on gene cloning and DNA analysis by Prof. TA Brown. Gathering some courage he wrote a letter asking about the potential error, and he was again surprised by the humble and gentle accepting nature of another famous scientist Prof. Brown (Manchester University), in the forma of a thanks letter.

Free Radical Biology

As a member of society for free radical biology and medicine, Dr. Arya has been contributing constantly to the scientific world. Some of his research has been published in top journals of free radical biology and his work was recognized in annual meeting of SfRBM, California in 2016.
